This is my third time using UDVC. Hands down the best dryer vent service company around, there is no comparison. The owner takes great pride in his work, his word and with his crew. The crew is always super polite, they treat your home as if it's their own. These guys are very knowledgable about duct work cleaning and even the Dryer itself, truly impressive. In this instance, I had an issue with my dryer and opened a repair order with Lowes (warranty repair). The appliance repair company came out, repaired the Dryer however suspected the machine was burned out due to ducts being full. I called UDVC and within 1hr had a crew in my home cleaning the dryer duct. I highly recommend this company, they are EXCELLENT!

This company is great! Scheduling an appointment was easy and prompt. Donnell and Brett were the techs that arrived to help me with my dryer. They were kind, professional and very efficient. They were able to quickly diagnosis the problem with the aluminum air duct - it wasn’t installed properly (not by them it was installed by Home Depot) So they cleaned it out and replaced the air duct properly and it’s working perfectly now. They were also very sweet answering all my curious son’s questions.I would absolutely recommend Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning.

Needed a birds nest removed from the dryer vent. Made an inquiry online and an appointment was scheduled within a few days, compared to some other calls I made that took weeks or no response at all. They guys showed up, with updates along the way. Gave the estimate on the spot and was able to do it right then, finishing rather quickly. Friendly, knowledgeable, work seemed good quality. Bird nest removed, duct cleaned and disinfected, quality vent cage installed. A+ Recommended.

My dryer wasn't drying my clothes and the manufacturer's service desk is a joke. So I googled the error code and found it was a clogged vent. Called Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning and they had an opening available the same day. Team came out on time and found the vent was severely jam packed with birds and nests. Took almost 2 hours but they got it clean. Dryer works fine.Professional outfit, guys are very courteous, and payment is easy. Use Zelle like I did. Definitely recommend.

It took a bit to get on their schedule, as they were converting to a new scheduling system, but I'm glad it worked out in the end. They were the perfect folks to remove a bird's nest from a bathroom vent in a tricky location and install new screening/cover. Very thorough and professional.

We recently noticed our dryer vent duct had become detached behind our wall in a narrow space that was impossible for us to get to. Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning came out within a day and took on the tricky task of securing a new piece of duct to the existing elbow with minimal damage to our drywall. They also installed a new vent cover for the outside and all work was done at a fair price. It's a huge relief to know our dryer is no longer "venting" into our walls. Thanks!

I wasn't sure who to call to repair the "contractor grade" dryer vent ducting which had broken inside my wall. I found Urbana online, and I'm so glad I did! I was able to schedule an appointment online, quickly and easily. When Dennis arrived, he talked me through the options, and then completely replaced the out-of-code flimsy flexible metal ducting inside the walls with rigid metal ductwork, snaking out our laundry room into a utility closet, then up the wall to the existing vent. It was a tight and twisting job, and he pulled it off brilliantly. Dennis is a true pro; friendly, communicative, thoughtful, and highly-skilled. He did great work, at a great value, which I know will last as long as our house will. I can't recommend this company enough!!!

Dryer vent cleaning including service inside and outside. Vent was plugged up outside. A high quality vent pipe was installed inside and attached to an aluminum venting hose and then this was secured to my dryer. My dryer was inspected and cleaned out.

Contacted Dennis to fix an issue with dryer vent on roof. While on roof, he found nails and debris left by builder and proceeded to remove all from my and my neighbor’s roofs. I scheduled an appointment a month ago for September 1, 2022 at 11:00am. It is now 4:28 pm and the technician did not keep the appointment. They did not call. They did not let me know they could not keep the appointment. The owner does not answer his phone. His voice mailbox is full so I cannot leave a message. He does not respond to texts. I DO NOT recommend this business. I would not even give it 1 star, but I couldn't leave a review without selecting 1 star.

Dennis was a nice guy, but very unprofessional. To our first appointment, he arrived 20 minutes late. Then while he was cleaning, the dryer vent pipes disconnected. He tells us that he’s going to have to come back and fix it. When asked when he’d be able to come back, he said it depended on a date he might have, but “you know how women are with their schedules.” So I called him later that week since he never reached out, and we got it in the schedule. On the day of, he asks if he can come a half hour early, and we say sure. He then arrives 40 minutes later than his original appointment time. Finally, he cuts 3 holes in our ceiling and now we have to re-spackle and paint because it looks terrible. I wouldn’t recommend him.

I found out that my dryer vent was 90% clogged because my clothes were still wet during multiple drying cycles though they were warm. I've researched around and gotten multiple rejects due to the fact that I live in a condo building and the type of W/D combo I have. One company even referred me to contact a chimney company. So when I booked the appointment with this company, I reached out to confirm that they will be able to do the job.Dennis responded through text(Best way to get in contact), then after multiple back and forth communications and pictures, he said he can do the job. On the day of service, Dennis showed up and got right to work. Got up to the attic and roof and did what he needed, when he was done, he tested my dryer to make sure I was no longer getting the code, D90(I have a LG W/D) and explained thoroughly what he did and even provided some info that I will be forwarding to my condo association. Needless to say I'm extremely glad I was able to find his company, he was even nice enough to take a little bit of his time to speak with my neighbor, who will be booking an appt after speaking with him.Also, he was very honest on the service he provided and did not overcharge even though he could have.I would highly recommend this company.

The owner, Dennis Thomas, provided an expert cleaning and service to my three-year old dryer. Specifically, the dryer vent was completely clogged resulting in very long periods of trying to dry loads of laundry. Mr. Thomas also provided service in the attic where he cleaned and serviced the duct. Mr. Thomas was courteous, thorough and professional; and, he was also extremely helpful on next steps in managing the life of a clean and dry vent for dryer efficiency. It was found that my dryer was not even hooked up properly to vent outside which had created quite a mess within the laundry room. Having just recently purchased the home, I was concerned with the amount of lint, and the heat generated in the laundry room, the dryer itself and even the clothes when retrieving them from the dryer. After the dryer vent cleaning, our laundry room is spotless and everything seems to be running wonderfully. I went from believing I needed a new dryer and avoiding laundry to happily catching up on laundry right after the cleaning was completely! Recommend this company for washer/dryer repair and vent cleaning. I had two other companies come out and tell me my dryer was lint free however when Jacob looked at dryer, he took bottom piece off and the lint just fell out. I’m so thankful he cleaned it as It was so close to catching on fire. Not only did I get exceptional service, the price was extremely reasonable. They were able to squeeze me in for same day service to remove a birds nest from my microwave vent. Jacob showed up early and did a great job cleaning out the dryer vent. He got a lot of lint and debris out of the vent. Believe the reviews! This company does the best job for a reasonable price. I scheduled my appointment online and was about to get a next day appointment. Jacob came early and got to work. He did not try to sell me unnecessary products like a previous company that came out. He quickly found and fixed the problem with my dryer vent then cleaned my vent. Jacob, from Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning, came to our Middletown home to clean and replace the outdoor dryer vent, and install a new bird guard to stop further nesting. He did a great job, working inside and outside of our home to finish the cleaning and installation in a timely and professional manner. He had just finished our late-day, Friday appointment when his boss contacted him to take on one more for the day. He happily accepted. Highly recommend this business and Jacob. The only reason I'm not giving them a 1 star is because Dennis was nice enough to give me the previous customer rate since they had serviced this house 8 months ago before I bought it. I hired them to do a cleaning. When his employee came out to do the cleaning, he also replaced the transition duct for free because he said it was brittle and the clamp wasn't secure. I was grateful that they did it for free since they were the ones who installed it 8 months prior. I also paid $65 for a bird guard because I was told that the holes on my current one were too small and that's why lint was getting clogged. I noticed a couple days later my dryer lint trap was wet with condensation so I texted Dennis and asked what was going on and that it looked like my vent flap was broken. He said it was broken when they came out but no one told me or offered to replace it. Annoying but not a big deal so I asked if they would come back out and fix it, and I don't mind paying for that. Dennis never came back when he said he would, stopped replying to my texts, and didn't answer my calls.

Talked with the owner Dennis about cleaning our dryer vents after we moved into a new home. He was able to clearly explain the options on the phone to me, and how they would approach getting us in good condition. I chose to go with full service and cleaning to make sure we had a clean slate to start. Scheduled online which was easy, and Jacob arrived on time to perform the service. He was friendly, thorough, and honest—when he found the dryer on the inside was fairly new and clean, he promptly let me know and didn’t charge for this part of the service. This is huge for a business to be honest, when he could have charged me and I would have been none the wiser. We’ll continue to use Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning in the future!

These guys did a great job cleaning our dryer and unclogging the dryer vent. I am someone who knows absolutely nothing about dryer maintenance, so I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything to me. Dennis and Jacob were absolutely wonderful. Our dryer smelled like smoke and Dennis answered on the first ring when I called. His schedule was busy for the week but he made it a point to fit me in. Jacob came over in the evening and spent hours cleaning out our dryer vents and explaining everything to us. They went above and beyond after normal business hours to make sure we were safe. A competitor was booking appointments 3 weeks out so I used Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning. It was really easy to make an appointment online. The owner came he was very thorough. He helped answer questions for venting the dryer for a remodel, cleaned vent, installed a new tube, replaced a cheap plastic bird cage with a new metal one and told us how to clean and when. Follow up visits are discounted $50. Very impressed and happy!

Dennis was extremely thorough. Found a dead bird that somehow made its way all the way thru the venting coil to the base of the dryer. He even installed a much better cage on the exterior vent on a rainy night.

We had a torn hole in our dryer vent hose and called Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning. We received a very reasonable quote and scheduled for the next day. Dennis was extremely professional and kind through the entire process. He was not only thorough in his work, but also in explaining everything, including how we can do basic maintenance and monitoring to keep things working well and reduce fire hazards. 24 hours later, the issue has been fixed for a low price, I feel confident in the work and taking care of things moving forward, and know exactly who I will call next time I have another dryer need.

Our dryer was not getting the job done. Then I called Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning. Came out to the house promptly and did a great job. Clothes now get dry in one-third the time. Even heavy towels. Highly recommend.

Dennis was great! On time and professional. We have had our vent cleaned before but never the inside of the dryer. Like that he gets up into the attic to check the connections and not just cleans the vent. The dryer is 9 years old and it is running just like the first day I got it. Clothes are drying faster than before the cleaning.

I honestly believe that he prevented a total disaster by fire as not only was the dryer vent fully clogged with years of the previous homeowners neglect, but the dryer internals were also filled to the point where ignition could have occurred at any time. Don't call anyone else! Dennis is extremely professional and knowledgeable about what he does. He took my entire dryer apart and showed me all the lint and hair that was building up inside. He vacuumed and cleaned it all up until it looked like new, and then proceeded to clean the duct and vent outside. He is very polite and came out within a day of my call. I highly recommend him!

Dennis from Urbana Dryer Vent Cleaning just cleaned my dryer vent. He was awesome! He showed me where we were very close to having a fire in the dryer from the build up of lint near the motor. He took apart the dryer to get all the lint that was in the dryer parts inside. This lint can start a fire more easily than the lint in the vent. He showed me all the lint that he blasted outside and made sure a clog in the middle was evacuated as well. Then he made sure everything was working and vacuumed up before he left! Definitely would recommend this company to everyone! We are in Ellicott City.

Dennis went above and beyond cleaning out our dryer of lint and dryer vent in our 3-level townhome in Urbana, which vents out up through our roof. Bad design! Dennis did a great job cleaning our dryer vent, which was almost completely blocked! He was able to stop by and clean it out just 1 day after I called. If you don't remember when you last had your dryer vent cleaned and notice your clothes are taking longer to dry, get him to come check it out - it can be a real fire hazard. Dennis is knowledgeable, professional, and very nice.
